2016 | ABANDONED CATHEDRAL
Programs: Maya, Zbrush, Mari, Vray, MarvelousDesigner, UV layout, Nuke
This was my final project for my final semester at Think Tank.
Due to time and hardware limitations I was not able to render more of this project due to the fact that I was hired at Animal Logic before I was able to finish.
I broke down this scene into tileable pieces to make the modelling much faster. Taking some of the pieces into Zbrush to break up the pieces and add variation.
I used Marvelous Designer for the cloth sim dropping the sheets over the benches. after that I sculpted additional wrinkles into the cloth in zbrush.
One day I would like to go back to this scene and update it, there are a lot of things I would do differently as I now have 5 years of real experience in this industry.
